Cypripedium Pubescens Extract
Also-called-like-this: Lady’s Slipper Orchid Extract
Details
The extract coming from the roots of the Lady’s Slipper Orchid. There is not a ton of info out there about what it's doing in a cosmetic product, but according to a Fitoterapia review paper about orchids, it's an Indian folk medicine with muscle relaxant, hypnotic, nerve calming, sedative, and tonic properties.
We also found a patent that confirms Lady's Slipper Orchid as a muscle relaxant, it's official CosIng function is tonic ("produces a feeling of well-being on skin"), and MakingCosmetics says it's soothing.
